“SCA Revision is hands down the best exam resource I’ve come across since graduating as a doctor. I studied it one month before the exam and got an 85% pass. I’ll be recommending this to all my Irish GP colleagues doing their CCT clinical exam.”
Built for the SCA. Field-tested for the CCT.
The CCT and the SCA test the same thing: whether you can run a safe, structured, patient-centred consultation under time pressure. History-taking, ICE, examination, diagnosis, management, communication, breaking bad news, dealing with uncertainty — the skills the CCT examines are the skills our 360+ cases drill. The format is the only real difference. Here’s how they compare:
| Feature | MRCGP SCA | MICGP CCT |
|---|---|---|
| Format | Remote, video-based | In-person, OSCE-style |
| Cases per exam | 12 | ~13 |
| Time per case | 12 minutes | ~10 minutes |
| Candidate movement | One virtual room | Stays in surgery; examiner and actor rotate |
| Modalities | Face-to-face video | Surgery, home visit, telephone |
| Held by | RCGP | ICGP |
The CCT, in one section.

Roleplay. Record it.
Get marked when you finish.
The hardest part of CCT revision isn’t doing cases — it’s knowing whether you’re getting better. AI marking solves that. Record a roleplay, the AI assesses it against the marking scheme, and returns a detailed report.
- Domain-specific scoring
- Specific feedback — what landed, what didn’t, what to try next
- Score history so you can track your trajectory
Practise with friends.
No fiddling with PDFs.

Breaking bad news
There are no good ways to break bad news. There are only ways that respect the person hearing it.
Pace is the difference between a patient who feels heard and one who feels processed.
01Slow down before you start
The opening 30 seconds set the entire consultation. Before delivering the news itself, signal that something serious is coming and check the patient is ready to hear it.
The bits that save your evening.
Smaller tools that take the friction out of revising — built into every case so you spend your time consulting, not preparing to consult. Plus a built-in 10-minute timer on every case, so CCT pace becomes muscle memory.
Hit generate. The platform pulls 13 cases balanced across topics, hides their content behind generic labels, and gives you a 4-character code to share with your study group. Run it solo or together — anyone with the code joins the same set.
Every case you complete lands here. See progress across every clinical topic, which areas are strong, which need work, and how many days till your exam.
Four steps. On repeat.
Filter 360+ cases by topic, body system, presentation. Or hit randomise.
Roleplay with a partner, run with an AI patient, or watch the filmed version.
Tick the scheme yourself, or send the recording to AI marking for a domain-by-domain report.
See your trajectory. Drill the gaps the platform surfaces.
Cases written by GP trainers, used on both sides of the Irish Sea.
Every case, marking scheme and management note is written by GPs who train, supervise and examine registrars. Not generic question-bank writers. Not AI-generated.
Used across UK and Irish GP training.
Checked against current UK guidelines — NICE, CKS, BNF, RCGP, RCOG, BASHH, FSRH. Updated as guidance changes.
Cases mirror real consultation length, structure, marking criteria, and patient communication style.

Is this useful for the CCT, or is it really just an SCA site?
The case bank was originally written for the SCA, but the consultation skills the CCT assesses — history-taking, examination, diagnosis, management, communication, attitudes — are the same skills the SCA tests. Trainees on both sides of the Irish Sea use it to prepare.
Who writes the cases?
Experienced GP trainers with first-hand exam experience. Not AI-generated.
How is the CCT different from the SCA?
Format: the CCT is in-person, OSCE-style, ~13 stations of ~10 minutes each, with home-visit and telephone-consultation scenarios. The SCA is remote video, 12 cases of 12 minutes. The consultation skills assessed are very similar.
What's the difference between Standard and Premium?
Standard gives you everything except the filmed consultations. Premium adds 70+ filmed real consultations with marking commentary.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly, no lock-in.
How often do you add new content?
New cases and content added regularly.
Do I need a study partner?
No. AI patients let you practise out loud whenever you want. Group revision tools are there if you have a partner.
Will my training scheme cover the cost?
Some Irish training schemes reimburse educational resources. Ask your scheme director — we can provide an invoice.
